Donation Information
The Ohio Village Muffins and Diamonds are Ohio History Connection volunteers who love the game of baseball and its history. They carry on the tradition of the sport as it was played in mid-nineteenth-century America by playing according to 1860s rules, dressing in period uniforms, and exemplifying the gentlemanly and ladylike behavior of the time. Each year, the Muffins and Diamonds travel around Ohio and beyond to support the mission of the Ohio History Connection to spark discovery of Ohio stories by providing an educational experience through the demonstration and interpretation of nineteenth-century base ball, along with its related social and recreational histories. As a volunteer organization, the Muffins-Diamonds program is sustained on donations, and any donations received go directly to fund the educational mission of the program. NOTE: To ensure that your donation is restricted for use by the Muffins-Diamonds program, please include "Ohio Village Muffins-Diamonds" in the "Comments" section at the bottom of this page.
