The Ohio History Center museum is generally open Wednesday through Sunday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.- please check our website for holiday hours or other operating hours changes.

Please note- regular museum admission is good for regular operating hours on any future date that the Ohio History Center museum is open, except for the Ohio State Fair. Advance tickets are available but not required. Walk-up admission is available anytime during open hours at the Ohio History Center front desk. This admission is not valid for special event admission with additional cost, or where pre-register advance tickets are required.
Members who wish to reserve tickets in advance can do so by calling 614-297-2300 during business hours.
Ticket with barcode must be presented to redeem admission. Tickets can be printed or presented on a smartphone.
Included in this total ticket price is a 5% arts and culture fee on the base ticket as required by the City of Columbus. This fee supports exemplary artists, arts and cultural organizations and programs that educate and engage audiences of all ages throughout greater Columbus.
Navigating Ohio History Day Workshop

Description: Celebrate 50 years of Ohio History Day! This in-person workshop will focus on helping your students navigate some of the common pitfalls seen in History Day projects and ways to help your students avoid them. We’ll explore the process of guiding students through the historical thinking process, ways to help students to find their authorial voice, how to navigate source material, and more! Join us for a full day of activities to get you ready for Ohio History Day!

Register your Base Ball team for the Ohio Cup 2025! Please have your TEAM CAPTAIN complete this registration. Once completed, your confirmation email will contain a link to an informational web page where you will find additional required documentation, including waivers and a team roster. These documents MUST be submitted upon arrival. For safety reasons, if documentation is not submitted, your team will not be able to play.
Pre-registration is required for the Ohio Cup.

Ohio History Connection (OHC), in partnership with the U.S. Green Building Council, invites you to help celebrate the LEED v4 BD+C: New Construction Silver Certification of the Collections Care Center!
The event will begin at the Ohio History Center with networking and a brief presentation, followed by a LEED plaque ceremony. We’ll then move to the Collections Care Center for an architectural tour showcasing the sustainable features and strategies that contributed to achieving LEED v4 Silver.
Attendees can earn 2 GBCI LEED Specific BD+C and 2 AIA LU/HSW continuing education credits.

Join the Ohio History Connection curatorial staff for an in-depth tour of the new Collections Care Center on our Columbus campus. Our curatorial staff will guide members through the new facility while highlighting objects from our collection.
Please arrive at the Collections Care Center 15 minutes before your tour time. Plan to park in the North Parking Lot of the Ohio History Connection campus at 800 E 17th Ave., Columbus, OH 43211. This is the parking lot in front of Ohio Village. You do NOT need to go to the Ohio History Center. Go directly to the Collections Care Center and enter through the front door. A staff member will greet you and direct you to your tour.
