Celebrate Ohio's LGBTQ history with the Gay Ohio History Initiative (GOHI) and the Ohio History Connection. LGBTQ Community Day is a GOHI project designed to preserve, collect and share the stories of Ohio's LGBTQ community by digitizing materials that represent the LGBTQ experience in Ohio. We will also be sharing Ohio's LGBTQ past through a display of current GOHI collection items, special curator talks and exhibitors from Ohio LGBTQ organizations.

Beginning at 2:30pm, we are partnering with Equitas Health for a special showing of Kings, Queens and In-Betweens a nationally recognized documentary film that explores the thriving Columbus drag scene through the compelling stories of 8 performers. After the film, stay for a panel of performers in the film as they discuss drag, gender and life as a performer.

Admission to both the movie and Ohio History Center will be free for Ohio History Connection Members. Advanced registration for Kings, Queens and In-Betweens  is not required, but is strongly encouraged as space is limited.
