Mount Vernon, George Washington’s Estate, is partnering with the Ohio History Center and the Ohio Council for Social Studies to bring a fantastic professional development to Columbus, Ohio. Topics include George Washington and the Ohio Country, African-American history, Ohio geography, the Northwest Ordinance, place-based teaching, sourcing with students, writing within the Social Studies, and so much more!
